They say everybody loves a Midwestern girl. Charlotte tested this theory when her love of airports and truck stops led her to travel for a bit while growing up, but she eventually made her way back to the cornfields and strip malls of Illinois. Not being much of a joiner, she prefers being in the audience to being onstage, watching people smoke than smoking cigarettes herself, and observing fun being had rather than having it herself.
Charlotte also likes music. You could say she’s a big fan of music. And Chicago. And music made in, inspired by, or played within Chicago. She adores any chance to praise her own manifestly stellar taste in music, and will happily listen to you do the same.
Being a rather intense nerd most of her life has imbued in her a level of useless musical and pop cultural knowledge which she has put to no good use and is now bestowing upon you. When she’s not writing about such things, she can mostly be found reading to excess, baking, slipping her dog pizza bones, and scouring the Midwest for abandoned technology and clothing looking for a good home.
