<Is a senior at Columbia College majoring in broadcast journalism. An only child, she was raised in the western suburbs and moved to Chicago 5 years ago. After ice skating for 15 years, Lindsey found a love in sports. During college football season you’ll find her rooting on the Hokies and Gators, her two favorite teams. She considers Wrigley Field her second home during Cubs season, trying to see as many games as possible. When she’s not out exploring the city for the best martini or trying to find a cute new outfit for the weekend, you’ll find her at home spending time with her cats, Gucci and Prada.
Q: Describe a perfect night out with friends?
A: Our perfect night always kicks off the same way: with (our favorite) chips & salsa and margaritas at Zapatistas, Zocolo or Nacional 27 (we enjoy the simple things in life). After that, we usually grab some drinks at a few chill bars such as State, Kerryman and Kirkwood. Then we head to Vertigo Lounge and Manor. You know it was a good night when we make the cab stop at Weiner Circle or Clark Dog on our way home (which also helps preventing a hangover).
Q: Drink of choice?
A: My new favorite has to be Three Olives Grape with lemonade (it tastes just like a sweetart), although I am partial to my favorite, Jameson.
Q: Best way to cure a hangover?
A: Chug a glass of water and take 2 aspirin before bed and you should be good to go in the AM.
Q: Favorite music to dance to?
A: Techno, House, Progressive. Anything fast, fun & high energy.
Q: Favorite nightlife spot in Chicago?
A: Any trendy lounge around the city.
