Many of you may have noticed TheChiGuide.com sponsored an event called the Divo Series last week? You may be wondering what it is all about. No, I am not talking about the ‘80s band Devo with the flowerpot hats! Just “Whip It, Whip it Good!” I should probably clear the air so people don’t have to worry about any of that monkey business at the next event. I currently host the Diva Series and it honors influential women in PR, Media, Fitness, Fashion, Beauty and more. The guys often asked, “what about us?” It started off as a good joke, but sometimes jokes become great concepts and ideas. When I looked up Divo in the dictionary, I found that it meant “a male superstar” in Italian. It was just too perfect. Alas, the Divo Series was born and became the perfect male counterpart to the female-charged Diva Series. The Divo Series is held monthly and is currently at Bull and Bear.
