Sometimes art dealers get along with their staff so well they even let them take the reins once in a while. Two long-time gallery managers at the venerable Zolla/Lieberman Gallery, Rachel Kalom and Brian Gillham, have just curated a show that addresses the elephant in most rooms -- not to mention houses and art galleries -- the recession. This group show featuring work by many Chicago artists, including alumni from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, meets the state of the economy and its relationship to art making head on.
