Women's History Month is in Full Bloom

Celebrate Women's History Month with open arms by honoring one of our country's most treasured women: Georgia O'Keefe. Participants will have the chance to see O'Keefe's artwork and learn about the compositions that made her famous. Then the group will learn from landscape artist Tobi Star Abrams and create a 3-D landscape scene in honor of the lady artist of the hour. The project will be full of vibrant colors and 3-D flower forms that will appear to be straight from O'Keefe's canvas. Call 312-744-9573 for more information.

The AIC is home to three O'Keefe's Sky Above The Clouds, which is huge and striking in person, Blue and Green Music --one of her most prolific works and her New Mexico inspired, imaginary landscape Black Cross.
