Join the traveling crowd at the first annual Octoberfeast. Wine and dine your way through a great selection of Chicago's downtown restaurants and bars, sampling the finest cocktails and cuisine of different downtown hot spots on a one-night culinary tour de force. There are 27 participating restaurants but each guest gets a route of five. Routes are randomly assigned, but you can trade.

Insider Info: The party ends at Martini Park, where the (free!) after party will be held, complete with open bar and, brace yourself, more food!  Also, if you have energy after all the walking, food and drinks, you'll have the opportunity to take part in dancing led by the Arthur Murray Dance Studio, located in River North as well. Before you go, be sure to grab your swag bag full of goodies worth about $120 dollars, filled with gift certificates from the restaurants and other River North Association members.
