Although it’s a couple weeks away, this electronic music bash is going to be the kick-off to a fantastic spring of electro shows. Dubstep is the hottest genre right now and some of our favorite Chicago DJs will be there. The biggest name of late in our fair city is Phaded and he will be spinning his evil beats for your ‘whomp’ enjoyment. He will be playing alongside another major name in Chicago, Nameloc, who throws beats somewhere almost every weekend. Opening for them are Midnight Conspiracy, Action/Adventure and Broken Disco 1980. Do not miss this epic event that will be sure to cure all your dancing needs. Get your friends together and get you wobble on.
Insider Info: There will be a Krump dance performance by Joey Morasco. If you don’t know what Krumping is, you can check out a video of it here. There will also be live painting and an excellent visual show for your optical enjoyment. Also, the Portage is going to be an interesting place to see this show. It often hosts movie showings which means there are a lot of seats. I have found that even if venues have seats, you can get your dance on (try going to Disco Biscuits at Auditorium Theater--seats become irrelevant).
