Music nerds, get ready to drool. The Magnetic Fields are bringing their genuis to the Harris Theater at Millenium Park this Sunday. The Fields now classic album, 69 Love Songs recieved stellar reviews all over and the concept was brought to life with three hours of love-y indie pop. Ten years later and they've released a new album (Realism) along with this tour. Realism is a foray into folk. So if you're in the mood for folky-loving then tonight is the place to be! Join Chicagoans and gather around the Harris Theater where Stephin Merritt and the rest of the gang will throw their indie and folk pop beats in your face! Check out the official site for more info.
Insider Info: If you are attending the concert, I'd recommend taking public trans as there are several buses and trains that run through Millennium Park, however if you are driving Millennium Park does have a paid lot that tends to fill up quickly. Check out the area around Columbia College for much cheaper parking. It will be about a 10 minute walk but it is worth it.
